About Me

My name is Beth, and I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who specialises in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma that can occur during pregnancy, birth, and parenting.

I have been a CBT therapist for 14 years and have worked in mental health for 20 years. I work part-time within the NHS team in Somerset, where we are lucky to have good support for parents. I decided to offer private treatment to those who may be struggling to access the support they need in their own area.

My goal is to give you a safe space to talk about the difficulties you are facing and to develop a better understanding of what is keeping you stuck. Together, we can explore alternative ways forward.

My approach is non-judgemental, and I aim to support you in parenting in the way that feels right for you and your family. I’m supportive of breastfeeding and co-sleeping and am neurodivergent-aware.

I believe it is never my job to tell you how to parent but to help you consider what may be acting as a barrier to feeling connected and confident in your parenting journey.

I am passionate about supporting mums and parents to be able to fully enjoy and engage with their family life. I know there are tough days and it will not always be sunshine and smiles, but my aim to help you feel like you can cope with these trickier days and feel connected you your values and what you want our of this journey.
